Trend Report: Grammys 2012

I don't know about you, but I love watching award shows. It's exciting to cheer on your favorites and dance along to all of the fun performances. But, the best part is the FASHION!! So, I put together this blog post based on the best and weirdest dressed celebs at the 2012 Grammys.

Best Dressed:

Carrie Underwood shines in this full-length, fully sleeved white jewel-encrusted gown. The black clutch is more of a standout against the white gown. Two thumbs up for Carrie!

Adele also shimmers and shines in a glittering gown, but hers is black and has three-quarter length sleeves. Paired with matte red lips, Adele looks stunning.

Taylor Swift always looks gorgeous, and this is no exception. Another floor-length gown, Taylor looks picture-perfect in this golden, encrusted gown. She really is a golden goddess.

Miranda Lambert is also wearing a golden gown, only this one has glittering silver lines up and down the skirt. Overall, Miranda is beautiful.

Now, for the oddest-dressed stars at the Grammy's this year.

Worst Dressed:

Fergie is wearing a see-through lace, orange, floor-length gown, with black undergarments. Defiantly not one of her best looks.

Nicki Minaj is dressed in a full-length red dress with some sort of face on the skirt and a weird hooded thing on her head. Though I must say, her escort, a man dressed as the pope, was the standout in this getup. Nicki may pull of some wacky ensembles, but none as crazy as this.

Who's your favorite and least favorite?

Nail News: Sally Hansen Luminous Tulips

Todays Nail News post has a very....unique, hard to describe color. This is like a light magenta-bugendy color. It's the perfect transition color to spring from the cold winter months. This is from the Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color line from Sally Hansen. It also has a thin layer of silver shimmer and has a lot of nice sheen.

What's your favorite nail polish of the moment?

Quick Tip: Smooth, Glossy Lips

I'm soo sorry I haven't been updating my blog very often, but I thought I would share a little beauty trick I learned to get smooth application for your lip gloss/lipstick.

1. Apply any Chapstick/moisturizing lip balm. This is a very important step to get you products to go on smooth, especially for lipsticks.
2. Apply your lip product. No matter if it's a lipstick or lip gloss, this little trick will help it apply more evenly and smoothly.

Will you try this Quick Tip?
